The Echo Game is a catalogue for the FOFA Gallery’s annual undergraduate student exhibition. The structure of the catalogue focuses on the concept of an ‘echo’. Beginning from the table of contents, we use little thumbnails, symbolizing the ‘echo’ of their work, which are arranged in a tight grid and depict the multiple artists exhibiting. The thumbnails are used to display captions of different artworks for each individual artist. The artists’ names are positioned on their individual page as were in the table of contents. The thumbnail forms are also on the cover, applying the concept.

This catalogue includes bilingual texts, English, as well as French, where the latter is italicized. To add, at the beginning of each paragraph, the first few words, depending on their meaning, are in bold. The typefaces used are Fabrik by Fabian Fohrer and Alegreya Sans by Juan Pablo del Perral. I myself was involved in the concept, the typography and the layout designs of this catalogue.
